Hello, and welcome to the Guitarists Praise and Worship Forum!!!
All areas of this web site require membership to participate, although anyone can view and read our members' posts. If you'd like to join us, please take a moment to register and agree to our forum rules.
This forum has been hit hard by spammers and others who want to disrupt our community in the past. As a measure to help protect our membership and guests, we moved to vBulletin forum software in November 2007. This has given us added layers of security, a much better feature set, and the ability to implement a much-needed post approval system. It's an answer to our prayers!
Upon registration, the first 3 posts of any member will be held for moderator approval before being made publicly visible. After having 3 approved posts, our forum software will automatically promote you to our "Full Member" level, at which point you will be free to post anywhere that posting is allowed and without any delay in your posts being visible.
Until new members have satisfied this 3-post policy, they will also not be able to post classifieds, add calendar events, use the PM system or participate in the "Prayer" or "Turn It Up!" forums. Of course, the "contact us" option found at the bottom of any page and in the side panel is still available to anyone, member or not, who wishes to utilize it.
Additionally, in order to be fully compliant with COPPA laws, we now require every member to set his or her birth date. If you have not set yours yet, please take a moment to visit your User CP and do so. You can opt in your profile whether you want your birth date and/or age to be displayed to other members (User CP / Edit Profile).
Please refer to our "About GPAWF" pages (see left column) for more detail.
Thanks, and may God richly bless you through this forum!

After prayerfully considering everything, Stephen has asked me to put a new political forum place. The new area is set up like the "Prayer" and "Turn It Up" areas in that only logged-in full members who have successfully completed our initial 3-post approval process have access. Looky-loos...

The Prayer Forum: Locked for your protection

You may have noticed, that we now have limited access to the prayer forum:
Only members that have passed our pre-post approval minimum, are allowed access into this forum.
The reason is, one member here, had his information gleaned from the prayer forum, cut and paste (and edited), and...

Welcoming newcomers................

How do we welcome newcomers? Do they feel welcome, and accepted here, or do they feel otherwise?
I only raise this, because I have had a couple of "anonymous" comments from some newcomers that percieved they felt like they were out of the loop, or not accepted here.
I dont believe that...

I have most of the next years services covered, but if any one would like to donate, shoot me a PM, and I'll give you the address to send in your donations.
I got really busy the last few months, so I have not had time to plan for a funraiser like we did last year. I will plan one for later...

I've noticed that several newly registered members still arent activated yet, and there is a reason for that:
The GPAWF!!! requires that you follow the email activation requirements when you register. This helps eliminate intruding "bots" from registering, and posting spam like posts here....

Just a reminder, that we gotta watch the sizes of our photo's that we put up here.
I think the general rule of thumb is, 640 x 640. Tha allows the pages to load properly and be enjoyed by everyone.
If your having problems re-sizing your photo's, just ask some one for some assistance: we...

There have been some pretty passionate threads going here and there lately. A few people have been getting a little too intense and letting their words get a bit too biting. This note is not aimed at anyone in particular - but is needed in order to lay down some healthy guidelines for deeper...
