One of my students wanted a new guitar so I met her and her mom at GC where I helped her pick out a nise Squier fat strat with alnico pickups. While there I spotted one of the new Fender 12 string Stratocasters. It was metallic blue with rosewood board. Great action and neck! I have NEVER played a 12 string guitar this comfortable. If yo get the chance to play one, do it. It's made in Japan.
Next was a black Ibanez Artcore that is exclusive to GC. I guess the model # would be a AFS75. It's a slim, full hollow guitar without trem. Very resonant and light weight.
Have a great Lord's day,

I really like the bridges on the Fender 12's.
Much better'n a Rickenbacker I had, though the Ric sounded good.

I saw those at a couple of GC's I didn't even pick one up cuz I don't want to buy one. If I ever get a 12 string electric it'll be a double necl 6/12.

Apropos of nothing, was on the Mayan Riviera last weekend and saw/heard a guy gig with a bass & guitar double neck. I believe that's the first combo of that config I've seen. No headstocks, no idea who made it. He got around both necks with considerable skill. Keyboard guy would carry the bass line when this guy took the lead breaks. Very clever.
