Anyone have any experience with this program? Took me a while to work out a latency problem with my interface ( Zoom H4) but finally got it to a usable place today and was really having fun with the limited options that came bundled with the program. You can change stomp boxes, amps, cabs, cabinet micing, room micing including placement, room size - there's a ton of stuff there and more is available through IK Media.

After about 90 minutes it froze - wonder how reliable it might be live. But it sounds nice so far. Been using headphones - intending to hook it up through the studio monitors over Christmas and see what it sounds like recorded.

No, but I've been thinking about the iPad/iPhone version. Of course that is quite a bit less than the full on pricing for the A3...

I got A3 bundled with another program, so the price was definitely right. All the computer music (for me) started with a great price on Addictive Drums form Guitar Center - 40.00. Usually goes for over 200.00, but then I needed a stable host and got Cakewalk Music Creator, which was bundled with A3 and Sample Tank. so for about a 100.00 I got enough stuff to easily drive myself nuts for a while.

Seriously, I remember the first sampling synths - Kurzweil 250 was HUGE, musically and physically - price-wise too - it's amazing how far things have progressed in terms of computer music applications, AND the level of accessibility.
