Ha! Didn't even see that. Yeah, that looks like me with the wild hair. :-)

No, I just went looking on the web to find a clean shot of a Nashville Tele and grafted it into a picture of Waldo. Same for the fedora. Then I put "Wally" in a Waldo background I found.
As my husband says, "don't give her a challenge."
Now I have to get the combination of coffee and half chewed banana off of my PC screen.
This made ME laugh out loud! Fortunately, I had already swallowed my sip of Dr. Pepper.

Glad to know I've been missed... or a least that you have had some fun at my expense in my absence... :angel
I got back to the states on the 28th of June, and was in Norfolk VA on and off (outprocessing from the Navy) through July 14th. I am now in TN, re-modeling a house and thinking about ooking for a job. We attended our new church for the first time this morning, and it looks like we are going to like it there (there is only one church of my denomination in town, long drive to the next one). I won't have consistent access to a computer and the net for several more weeks... maybe longer. I miss participating here and look forward to returning on a regular basis in the near future.
Please pray for my job search and the work on the house!
Your brother in Christ,
Wally

Well, I have been back online for nearly 2 weeks now, but unfortunately using an extremely slow dial up connection here at my Dad's house (We are staying w/ my Dad while we re-model our house). I miss my ADSL!! I have been checking posts most days, but haven't posted because of my slow connection and just generally being very busy. I continue to work on the house - lots of progress made, lots more to do - and continue looking for a job. I had an interview this past week and am awaiting the results of that. A small shipment of my goods arrived a couple of weeks ago which included my computer and some of my guitars. If you ever make a big move like I just did... take a guitar with you!!! I didn't play much at all for over 2 months and I can tell it. A friend did loan me a guitar a few weeks before my guitars got here, but I didn't paly it much - just not the same as having your own .

Wally, its good to hear from you bro!
Its horrible when you've been spoiled on DSL or cable, and are forced to go back to dial up!
I know what you mean about playing your own guitaar: unless the loaned guitar is stellar, it never quite compares to your own.
