If you are a Christian, or even not, chances are, you have heard of Chrislam; the meshing together and intermingling of Christian beliefs and services with those of Islam. Quite a few churches, as a matter of fact, have begun teaching services that share the Bible and the Koran, and even have both books sitting side by side in the pews of their churches. There is a website, located at CHRISLAM. ORG , that has been around awhile. As a matter of fact, the copyright on the website is from 2001. Front and center on the website is a quote from none other than Malcolm X. Malcolm X was the leader of the Nation of Islam, which was not even recognized as a true part of the real religion of Islam during the time of Malcolm X. However, that is probably better left for a letter piece.
One article located on tdlm.org, all this began in November, 2010. (The Last Days News, 2010). This, being the big push through the churches in the United States to begin teaching their congregations Islam through the reading of the Koran during their church services. (The Last Days News, 2010). Where did it start? According to the article, it all started with Presbyterian ministers (The Last Days News, 2010). Merely because Jesus is mentioned about twenty-five times within the Koran, church leaders say that they have found a common ground between Christianity and Islam, which in my opinion is completely wrong (The Last Days News, 2010). What is it they are teaching? Simply that people can follow Jesus Christ without ever actually holding the belief that he was the Son of God, who died upon the cross, for our sins, and that through him we are able to receive the gift of everlasting/eternal life (The Last Days News, 2010).
Anybody, who has learned anything about Islam, knows that the Koran does not state Christ as the Son of God nor the Messiah. Instead, he is viewed as a mere prophet, who had been appointed by “Allah” to prepare people for Mohammad to come (The Last Days News, 2010). In Islam, it is blasphemy for one to believe that God is Christ, the Son who was born to Mary, which can be found in Sura 5:17 and more (The Last Days News, 2010). The Koran calls Christians blasphemers for their belief in Christ (The Last Days News, 2010). Other various scriptures, as mentioned in the article call for the death of Christians who refuse to convert to Islam (The Last Days News, 2010).
Yet another article by Amy Spreeman, says that Chrislam is spreading by way of “progressive Christian circles” (Spreeman, 2011). I would have to agree. No true believe in Christ, who has ever studied the Bible and the Koran could mesh these two non-cohesive groups together. One, the Bible, states that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, who died upon the cross, as God’s one and only Son, so that we, believers in him will not perish, but instead, we will receive eternal life; while the other, the Koran, states that Christ was not Christ at all and that those who believe he was Christ are blasphemers. Excuse my expression, but that is total bunk and bull.
Is Chrislam new and merely existent within the United States? Not at all. As a matter of fact, Chrislam is very alive and throughout quite a few places worldwide. Nigeria is one example of such another place teaching Chirslam (Educational Broadcasting Corporation, 2011). In Nigeria, where clashes between Christians and Muslims can spring up and be extremely violent and deadly, one can find Christianity and Islam being schlumped together (Educational Broadcasting Corporation, 2011). Bibles and Korans sit side by side within the pews, and these are standard churches like the older, and bigger churches in the area (Educational Broadcasting Corporation, 2011). Instead these are smaller groups of Christians and Muslims alike, who are intermingling their beliefs and teachings (Educational Broadcasting Corporation, 2011). Pardon my anger, but WHAT IN THE HELL has happened to stupefy Christians to the point of buying into such crap? Are you a Christian? Are you infuriated? Do you see a “world religion” cropping up here? I certainly do not buy into it; I am a Christian; and I definitely see strides being made by leaps and bounds to the forming of a “world religion”.
A list of several other Chrislam sites can be found below, as well as a list of supposed Christian churches who are spreading Chrislam across the United States. First, however, I would like to give some things from the Koran and the Hadith, the two primary books used by Muslims within their “religion”.
From Al-Ma’idah (The Table Spead). 5:51
“O you who have attained to faith! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for your allies; they are but allies of one another and whoever of you allies himself with them becomes, verily, one of them; behold, God does not guide such evil doers”.
From At-Tauba (The Repentance). 9:30
“And the Jews say “Ezra is God’s son”, while the Christians say, “The Christ is God’s son”. Such are the sayings which they utter with their mouths, following in Spirit assertions made in earlier times by people who denied the truth! They deserve imprecation (curse), “May God destroy them!” How perverted are their minds!”
The above was from the Koran, and were only two small pieces of the whole. The following is from the Hadith.
Volume 8, Book 82, Number 794: Punishment of Disbelievers at War with Allah and his Apostle. Immediately, we are faced with severe brutality where men are told to drink the milk and urine of camels, for healing from some sickness or disease. The camels were then stolen from them, and they were told to capture the thieves and to cut off their hands and feet and not to cauterize their bleeding to stop it, and to allow them to bleed to death and to also brand their eyes.

Rather than repent and turn from sin, as in the Bible and believed truth by Christians, the Hadith teaches that during sexual iniquity, partaking of alcohol, and being a thief, that believers are merely not believers during their time of committing these acts, but that upon the completion of such acts, repentance is available and their status as believer is restored. To Christians, we do not stop being a Christian because we committed some sin, but rather we need to ask God to forgive us that sin and turn away from that sin, but our salvation does not leave us in our hour of weakness, because God tells us that He will never leave nor forsake us.
Sharia law is an area that I will delve in short here. As shown in several articles upon a quick internet search, Sharia law could easily introduce whippings/lashings/floggings for those who partake in the drinking/consumption of alcohol (Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance, 2007). One group of laws within Sharia law are called “Haram” and call for more severe types of punishment such as flogging and even stoning someone to death (Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance, 2007). The crimes covered that are considered to be “Haram” are pre-marital sex, sex by people who are divorced, post-marital sex, adultery, false accusal of intercourse which is unlawful, drinking alcohol, theft, and highway robbery(Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance, 2007).
An article shared within the list that I will use as reference here, discusses the case of a woman named Soraya M, and a story of another young woman, both who were brutally murdered based on an unjust system called Sharia law, where false accusations could see one stoned to death, even if she was raped by attackers. Such brutalities are not condoned in Christianity. As a matter of fact, Christians do not condone acts of extremist Christians. Instead of cheering in the streets when a person claiming to be a Christian blows up an abortion clinic and kills or maims people within it; the Christian community condemns the actions of the bomber and speak out against his/her actions, loudly and clearly. However, Muslims do not loudly speak out and largely speak out against the brutal attacks of other Muslims in any nation, nor do they condemn the actions of suicide bombers which sometimes kills hundreds and thousands of people.
Chrislam is spread throughout America, and rampantly so. As a matter of fact, on July 4, 2011, as we celebrate the fight for our freedom and our Independence Day, Muslims will be holding a “Million Muslim March” on our nations Capitol, to shout for Sharia law to be implemented within the United States of America. One Million Muslims.info was the original information website for the July 4 march for Muslims in D.C., but as of this afternoon, it would merely come up, to the first page and refuse to load further. Honestly, I hope we crashed it.
Christians must awaken, stand and fight to keep their freedoms intact. If you belong to a church that is an interfaith church that is spreading Chrislam, I challenge you to boldly stand and remove yourself form that congregation. A list is below of such churches. I also urge all Christians across the United States to contact these churches in majority numbers and let them know how you feel about Chrislam being taught within our supposed “Christian” churches here in America. Furthermore, I call upon ALL Christians to take off the passive nature and want, STAND firmly together against Sharia law and Chrislam in America. THE TIME TO REMAIN SILENT IS NO MORE AN OPTION. Stand together; Stand for Christ, our Lord and Savior, and do not sit idly by doing nothing while Islam overruns our nation. Fight evil where it is. It is here!!!! Join me and stand.
