First time in public, today

well, not really much of a big deal, except to me. And I guess it shows that my repertory of techniques is growing...

Today, I played bass chords in public! Only power chords, but there has to be a first time for everything. We played "God of this City", with only piano, drums and bass. Towards the end of the song, the directory want a bit fuller sound, and I was playing bass chords up above the 12th fret to add to the overall sound.

OK, not much to anyone else, but it was a big deal to me.

great example of being versatile and playing to the group, not just sticking to the same thing no matter who else is there. The bass doesn't always have to play low...
