I encourage every serious student of the Word to visit the e-Sword web site, and download the free Bible study software, plus many, many Bible translations, Commentaries, Bible Dictionaries, and other resources too numerous to mention.

What makes this resource different than most others on the 'Net is that this allows you to download everything to use on your computer, and you don't have to be connected to the Internet to use it. Once you start using it you'll find that there are many useful tools which help in the preparation of sermons or research papers. These files can all be exported, and then re-imported for use later.

90% of the materials are free of charge. I've purchased a key to download the New American Standard Bible and a commentary that follows this translation.

Please do yourself a favor and visit the web site!

E-Sword is a blessing for sure. I have downloaded just about everything they offer, including a few pay Bibles. I send teens there for a puter Bible all the time. I have $400 software packages that do not compare to E-Sword.

BTW, nice to see you Crunchyriff! Just found this place thanks to Dave!

I use e-Sword and The MacArthur Life Works Library for Bible study all the time.

e-Sword gives one plenty of tools and it's free. I picked up the MacArthur Life Works Library for $59.00. It's a really good resourch as well.
