This is a 1969 Yairi GF250 Flamenco guitar, made in Japan by K. Yairi. It has a solid cedar top and solid cypress back and sides (no laminate). Incredible tone throughout the whole range. Nice action and straight neck. Just a beautiful sounding and playing guitar. . My mother-in-law bought it new in 1969 and took lessons for a very short while, then it lived primarily in its case, until I married her daughter in 1981. I would play it whenever we visited, but other than that it saw little use. It has been mine since around 2000 or 2001. I played it only now and then and performed with it perhaps 3 times, as I'm primarily an electric and steel-string player. It has only a few very minor little nicks, but is otherwise in excellent condition for a 40-year old guitar. This guitar needs to be in the hands of someone who will play it more than I do. Comes with Ventura hard shell case. $800.00 obo.
