A guy over at another site just got hisself one of these:

http://www.stevesmusiccenter.com/DeanPerformerEAVS.html

He's ravin how good it play's just like an electric, with great action all the way up the fret board, and I fear I may be feelin the rumblings of a G.A.S. attack comin on  !

The good thing is, the price: $199.00 plus s/h. But with me, it might as well be a $3,000.00 guitar, cause I dont buy an awful lot of gear (budget is tight, and I fear the lil woman).

So has anyone here had a go with one of these Deans? I would like to get an acoustic for one or two numbers, but most acoustics cause a little too much pain in my hands, cause of the force needed to fret the strings (thanks to contact sports, and punchin walls in my youth), so I would love an acoustic that requires an electric guitar kinda touch too it.

I wonder if I shoulda given this thread the subject heading of: "Hey reverbbb, dont look at this!", cause the last time I pointed out an acoustic to him (the Taylor T5), it sounded like this might be playing out at the reverbbb ranch down their in Plano, Texas:
