If you are in the market for new pups, do yourself a favor and give Dave a shout. The Pure Handwounds are amazing (as is everything he winds) pickups. The moment I put one in the neck of my tele, my tone quest was over. Hey SA.....You are going to LOVE the PureHandowunds. My experience echos everything Dave says about them on his website. The are vibrant, open and articulate...almost single coilish in nature. The string to string definition, note bloom and richness of tone put them in another league altogether.

I can easily get lost in the lush clean tones they provide. With a bit of low gain overdrive added, they posess a wonderful, fat singing quality. I dig the dynamic way they respond to touch as they really let the emotion of your playing come through. They let what you put in come out. While that may sound like a no brainer, many pickups I've used are lacking in that area. Also, slight adjustments of the guitars volume and tone controls open up a wealth of cool tonal shades and colors.

His tele pups are amazing too! As you can tell, I'm hooked on Zhangs pickups. I'll look forward to your thoughts after you've spent some time with them.
