Many times I get chewed on by the worship leader about stage volume using my 100 watt carvin tube amps in small churches  so ---. I snagged a Tone Navigator to run direct and not use an amp on stage at all in small churches . This is the first time out with it and while I ran a cab as an on stage monotor what you hear was recorded off the mains with a Mini Disk on the front row . Here is a Sion Alford song from the show http://www.digitalsoundplanet.com/Members/000145589_000028197.mp3

Well, it sounds pretty huge, from what I can distinguish in there. The question is, do you like it? Is it getttin' the tones you're after? Should I order one today? \:D/

My tube amps sound better BUT. I have owned a bunch of rackmount preamps( Marshall JMP-1 , ART SGE-2000, Rocktron Chameleon and Voo Doo Valve ect ) and so far this is the best of them . I wish I had a good tube power amp to try I have a Tube works Moss valve that sounded like C#$@p with my Rocktron but sounds pretty good with the TN. I would bank on some KILLER tones with the T100 . Direct it will just destroy the POD and other modelers I have tried and feels "real ". The effects are usable but rather basic but the pre amp itself is a winner.

Hah! The ol' ART SGE-2000?! I've got one of those still around out in the garage. Haven't had it out in years. I used to get some righteous roars coming out of that thing.
Wonder if I could get a few bucks out of it on Ebay...
