I'm just curious if anybody has had any experience with Monte Allums OD308... I'm considering one based on the outstanding quality of the results I've gotten from some MODs I purchased from him. Sounds like it is somewhat similar to a RAT...

I'm also curious what people's experiences have been with RAT type pedals. What did you like about them, what did you no like, etc. I'd be running this with an OCD, Blues Driver, and TS9DX and am just looking for something "different" but useful. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I have BYOC Rat. I used it for leads mostly. I didn't like the rhythm tone with it but single notes sounded really good.

I just watched Monty's video demo on the 308. Not impressed. I have never liked the tone of a dirt pedal in front of a Fender amp.

Sigh... I'm actually possibly going to go with a VOX Satchurator... believe it or not...

AND, I may be dumping my TS9DX dual drive mod... It sounds better than stock, but I've found myself reaching for the bad monkey a few times lately just because of the more flexible EQ...

I've also tried out and considered stuff like a BOSS SD-1 modded and so forth, but the monkey's EQ makes it very tough to beat...
