That is a beutiful guitar. I like the transparent green.

Just curious, did you build it from scratch or from parts?

Being as my housing situation doesn't have the space for my woodshop this one was made from parts. As soon as some things change and I get into another house I plan on finishing my Acoustic that I'm building from scratch as well as building a 7 string Flying V.

Thanx for the compliment.

TDPRI ?

Oh I forgot, your not fluent in Telecasterese, seeing Gibsonesque is your primary speak:

It stands for Telecaster Discussion Page Re-Issue, and its the forum that got me started here.

Here is a link to the last page of there black-hole thread called, "Get the Green Light Blinking":
http://www.tdpri.com/viewtopic.php?t=21869&start=1560

it was a bunch of silliness we all enjoyed over their.

That's a perfect place for a Rio Grande Big Bottom Green Sparkle set!

I'm not kidding, I've often thought of getting another body and doing just that. Very cool, either way.

Hey, that's a Washburn Laredo. None of that Diablo stuff! How did you recognize it?

Had one!
Recognized the Wilkinson bridge first, then the off color pearloid pickguard.
Very familiar looking.
Yeah, Loredo!
Mine was a great guitar, but the neck had some troubles after I lent it out for an extended period. :hissyfit

This has such a very nice neck and remarkably fine fretwork. Holds up extremely well under distortion, too, for such vintage electronics.

Yeah, I like Rio Grandes. But I also like the Seymour Duncan Broadcaster and the neck pickup that comes stock.
Very well made guitar.

Since the photo I put the original set back in; I just couldn't live with looking at it anymore -- it just clashed too much for me. The Rios were great and didn't feed back at all, but I actually prefer the Broadcaster set. So now I have these good pickups waiting around for the next idea...
