Anyone happen to have one of these layin around they want to get rid of?

I've been thinking about building a tube rig out of rack mount stuff but have heard alot of good things about this little amp.

Initially I was going to use a Peavey Rockmaster preamp to go direct into the mixer at the church and get some rackmount FX but I don't know much about that kind of stuff. I might be better off just going with the Crate GFX 212.

I'm thinking I could disconnect the speakers so as not to blow everyone off the platform and use their in-ear monitor system but I don't know if I want to mess with those wires on a weekly basis.

Well, I'm just thinking about things right now but if you know of any of these items that might be for sale give me a shout please.

Thanks!

Cole,

Sorry for coming in late to this thread but, yes, I have a Crate 2X12. It's not for sale but it is a good church amp. The effects are acceptable and the rotary speaker sounds good with a strat. Mine is the FTX-120. (120 watt 2X12) The other Crate models are the GTX 212 and GLX 212.

The amp is only 50 pounds. I got it because setting up a bunch of pedals is a drag. With the crate you just plug in the included cable and control 3 channels and their effects. Effects are individually programmed for each channel.

There is a line/effects loop/output. I plug a volume pedal in there. The amp has a chromatic LED tuner on top. Everything a guitarist needs! Want tube tone? Plug an ART Tube MP into the effects loop. This puppy can get loud as you want. The OD channel is TubeScreamer-ish in that it is mid heavy. The distortion channel can do the scooped thing.

The speakers are quite good after a break in. I ran mine for 3 hours with a signal generator set to ~35 Hz. Buy the casters if you don't have a roadie.
