Here I was in the bargain section of a Christian bookstore and this book got my attention. I have "The Case For Faith" DVD by the same author (Lee Strobel) of the book so I got it. I have this against the crowd, not into popular type stuff mentality, besides I'm a bit of a cheapskate.
Anyway, we in Australia tend to feel immune to what's happening to the rest of the world because of our physical location. Not a lot of people know what's really happening and their main source of information is the TV.
I just praise God and pray for the Scholars that take a stand on the authenticity of the Bible and their beliefs. This book has been an eye-opener for me so far. :bible:

I've gotta read his first book "the Case For Christ" before this week is out. He's a talented writer. not hard at all to understand.

The Case for Christ, gave my atheist/agnostic brother (he cant decide which he is) fits, and he didnt want to talk about the book.
It must have torn a lot of his theories to shreds, and left him with no arguments.

Ever watch Stephen Colbert? according to him, an agnostic is an atheist with his "manly parts (edited)" cut off.

OK, seems like I'm going back to the bookstore to pickup Case for the Creator and Case for Christ. Might pickup the DVDs as well. Any more (The Case)titles I need to be aware of.

i own all the major books except the Easter and Christmas edition books.
The case for Christ and The case for Faith are great. Strobels interaction with William Lane Craig is great!

I personally enjoy "the case for a tele" and "a case for tubes", but I'm not sure you'll find them in your local Christian book store...

You can find "The Case for a Tele" in TDPRI.
"The Case of Tubes" from any DYI stuff. Ceriatone is one for example.
"The Case For A New Gear" is everywhere.

Not if the audience has anything to say about it.....:wasntme:
OK, it wasn't THAT bad. Certainly not as bad as a couple of puns that I have posted recently...

You also could toss in "More than a Carpenter" although it probably would be a little less "intense" than the others you are reading... Either way, I really enjoy these kinds of books (although come to think of it, I haven't read all that many...) because they help me have confidence in my faith even in the darkest seasons of life... Not that I SHOULD NEED that encouragement... God has been SO faithful to me and my family of the years. SO many examples of supernatural provision, seasons where God's leading has been SO obvious... There is NO possible way I could doubt that God is real.
That being said, I still struggle sometimes... Maybe I'm of the "ye of little faith" club...
