I got a chance to hang out with Michael back in the mid 90`s for an afternoon and found him to be a great down to earth real brother.I was a HUGE fan when they first came out and the wife and I actually used three Stryper songs in our wedding .It`s good to see the guys back out and touring.Pray for these guys as they are touring with some of the "other side" bands as of right now .My old band Ascension did the same thing back in the mid 90`s and it can really take a spiritual toll on a band if you aren`t covered in intersession but also can be VERY effective as a ministry. Here is a link to there web site http://www.stryper.com/

I was TOTALLY into Stryper in the 80's. I wasn't into God so much back then, but I loved what they did.

I saw them a few times. Once at Red Rocks in Colorado (gorgeous outdoor ampitheater in the mountains). What a show!

I was HUGE into them from "Soldiers Under Command" on. Long before I knew Jesus, I was listening to Stryper. A buddy of mine and I used to get completely messed up and drive around listening to them at brain-damage volume levels. Some folks may scoff, but I am convinced that God used them in my life.

It can be yours for $999, which isn't bad at all for a U.S. made Jackson.

That is great to hear!

Back when I first heard Stryper, there were no "metal" Christian bands around that were charting any new territory. Along comes Stryper, and there keeping pace, and in some instances pushing at bands like Dokhen, Ratt, and even the juggernaut known as Motley Crue!

I just hope they have left all the spandex behind!

I respected what they did, but it wasn't my personal style. More of God's power to them!
