Anybody have a preference on audio taper vs. linear taper in a volume pedal? I'm considering upgrading and am looking at two models by Morley... one is audio taper, the other linear...
Also, how much do you use the "minimum volume" feature? My current pedal doesn't offer it and I'm not sure how much I'd use it if I had it...
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Audio, it is close to being logarithmic in nature, which is how your ear works.
Never used a volume pedal, so, I have no opinion on the "minimum volume" feature. I always just used the pots on the guitar.

Audio taper for sure. I use my Morley Lil Aligator with the min volume set to off . So in effect I don't use it at all.

I used to use the old Morley 110ac opto volume pedals (the big ol' chrome jobs).
You had to get inside them to set them for the range and whether or not off was really off.
I found them useful at the time for orchestra pit work (20 years ago).

IDK, but I LOVE the Visual Volume pedal. I even use it with my POD X3L (I hate the volume pedal on the POD).
The VV has the smoothest taper I've used, and I've become dependent upon the LED indicators.
