Matthew 26: 1-5 ( Good News Bible)
When Jesus had finished teaching all these things, he said to his disciples, " In two days, as you know, it will be the Passover Festival, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified."
Then the chief priests and the elders met together in the palace of Caiaphas, the High Priest, and made plans to arrest Jesus secretly and put him to death.
"We must not do it during the festival", they said, "or the people will riot".
It is just before Easter and we are preparing ourselves.
Maybe a lot off you folks are playing in church during Easter.
Maybe some off you are singing or doing evangelical stuff.
But are we prepared so much as to suffer with Christ?
For me this is a time off sadness and joy too, but the joy is lateron.
