I`m still trying to unwind from it the pastor didn`t even get a chance to preach the spirit just took over. From the start you could just feel something in the air man it was WILD!! Tommorrow I`ll see how far the Mini Disc went in recording it.Several times as I was playing I found myself wondering where the stuff I was pulling out was coming from :dunno !!I was playing stuff all night I CAN`T even begin to PLAY :shock !!I was hearing all this KILLIN guitar stuff then suddenly I realized it was ME :shock WHA I can`t play that :dunno .Well I`m tired and going to crash now but this was truly an AMAZING night!!

You'll have to post some of what you recorded.

I had never heard of this kind of thing happening until I started reading this forum and saw some other posts speaking of it.

I don't mean for this to sound negative or skeptical.... so please don't take it that way, but I would like to know more about the prophetic nature of the music you are writing on the fly, and how the pastor feels about "not getting a chance to preach".

Here is a short clip from the opening song (it went 40+minuits).This was spontainious started before the start of the meeting as an imprompto jam and NOT on the set list (set list :crazy with THIS group :ROFL ) it just took off from there http://www.digitalsoundplanet.com/Members/000145589_000026411.mp3 I don't mean for this to sound negative or skeptical.... so please don't take it that way, but I would like to know more about the prophetic nature of the music you are writing on the fly, and how the pastor feels about "not getting a chance to preach".

Wally the pastor John had been trying to get a word and direction for a couple of days for this meeting and couldn`t so he was glad to step aside .In this realm thats how it is supposed to work decently and in His order :angel  !I only got about 40 minuits of the worship as my batteries died but this is a clip of the start.Whats a shame is i didn`t get the latter part but yall would have probably thought we were :crazy if I had :dunno :innocent :angel

In really looking back on Sunday night I realize a couple of things.1-All three members of the band that had been taken out were involved this night at some level for the first time again . 2-The accoustic guitarist back up worship leader wound up leading some of this and for her after all she has been through it was a healing experiance. Karen actually wound up at the alter during the latter part of the service and really had a break though in her grief process. There was MUCH that happened on this night as I listen back at the recordings I hear more and more :angel .

I don't want to change the focus of this thread, please excuse the interuption, but what did you use to record this? I think the sound quality is very good for a live Church set. Maybe just PM me the answer? I don't want this to lead the wrong way.

I find this thread's subject very interesting. It's brand new to my thinking.

God Bless,

I use an old Sony Mini Disk wallkman recorder I picked up at a pawn shop set up on the front row of the Church and a condensor mic that is self powered by the recorder that I got off eBay for $26.00 .These things are AMAZING tools  !!!

Here is another clip http://www.soundclick.com/util/DownloadSong.cfm?ID=2206713 open Holy Visitation. This one is where it really started to get interesting but unfortunately the batteries died on my recorder in the middle of it :hissyfit :dunno .If I`m not mistaken I think you can still listen to the low side with out opening a soundclick account if you don`t have one :dunno .
