1) This site is growing like crazy. I now realize that there is so much activity on this site, that it takes a while to read all the new posts everyday.

2) I have noticed that there is a nice representation of members from Texas. Mostly from the Dallas metropolitan area. It is nice to see so many from my home town show up to an international forum.

Now, if we could just get some more perspectives from the female side of guitar playing and P&W. This guitar world has been male dominated far too long IMO. :angel

Yeah I have noticed that the Lone Star State is definitely represented here! It would make Sam Houston proud!

I know for a fact that we do have one Lady as a member, but she is a Pastors wife, and very busy, so her participation is light.

I am thinking of ways to get our sisters to participate here as well, and if anyone has some good ideas, I'm open to suggestions, as long as it doesnt involve making my "honey-do list" get any longer than what it is! Cause if my list gets any longer, I wont be able to keep up, and my wife, well lets just say this is what I might see: :wife And then this would be me: :sprint:

Hmmm - Stephen, I'll pray for marital counseling and swift healing!

I think it has to do with the same old "who uses the web demographic" thing. Some gals dig it - many don't. Add to that guitars in general - and it seems like all music forums are 98% guys...

Anyway - ... :popcorn

Maybe a musicians' wives' forum? :wife

MrsMike used to love to come hang out with "the guys". She's very supportive. In fact, as I type, she's making me a cover for my amp.
