I mean, seriously Norway is a beautiful country you all know that right? I was thinking we could all meet up here and make a GPWF CD and a DVD, get to meet, get to play, have a great time and bring home some good memories and all. Say what about a week or so... we'll use my studio to record a CD, I'll organize a church to crash in, we'll get my TV-friends to bring some cams and voila we're on our way to the first international GPWF meet. C'mon you guys, bring your axes and ur skills and le'ts have some real fun.

Um... I'm afraid I don't have the budget to zip to Norway. :innocent My wife and daughter would surely like to go as well... so that pretty much makes it a no go. :dunno

We can't even make it to New York to see her mom because flights are so high lately (from Dallas, TX area).

I love the idea - I was stationed in Iceland for a couple years so I have an idea of the beauty of the country. I am sadly constrained by budget woes as well though....

I was all ready to purchase my ticket on Norwegian Air, until I saw this little disclaimer at the bottom: "C'mon you guys, bring your axes and ur skills........." Well needles to say, that keeps me from making the cut! Darn my feeble guitar skills! :innocent

You guys crack me up. I said bring ur skills..... I did not state a skill level. like.......Bring your axes IF you can play better than.........(insert your fav guitarist here)

Well what about we make this a 2006 event. Save up som dollars, maybe convince your church u need to be doing a weeks mission in Norway or even sell some cd's or dvd's in advance hehe.
