:shock

Put my new 1/4 pounder through its paces today: 2 services this morning, and practice afterwards.

I was a little concerned, cause I put ti in my guitar so late last night, I really couldnt get a feel for it. I just hooked it up, and made sure it worked. No time for tonal explorations.

Well during sound check I got this big ole  on my face that just wouldnt go away! Every one on the Praise Team was like "Wow, your guitar sounds GREAT!" Made me feel like doin a little

This is exactly, 100% what I was lookin for!!! Musta had at least 20 people tell me afterwards how great the guitar sounded!

This pup aint ever comin out of my guitar! I've still got the Tele twang, but it has a blend of that LPjr kerang now, and it is so dynamically responsive, I am just dumbstruck over how cool it is!

I give a hearty thumbs up to the Seymore Duncan 1/4 pounder! If your thinkin about getting one, it is money well spent!

Did I mention how much i like this pup? :ROFL

Don't mince words, Bones! Just out with it! :innocent

Seymour does do a great job with their pickups. I've got about nine of their pups installed in some of my guitars. And then I think I have about 8 or more different Seymour humbuckers in my garage that I swap in & out as my taste or mood changes. They've got more flavors than Baskin-Robbins!

Yeah, a lot of guys say they don't "get" Seymour Duncan's descriptions, but he makes sense to me, and his pickups have everybody talkin' the same language now.

Congrats PC! I'm glad to hear you found THE bridge pup for you. Their seems to be no middle ground with te 1/4lb'r. People either love em or hate em. From your tone description of what you were looking for, I thought the 1/4 might be the ticket for you. Isn't it wonderful when you plug it in for the first time and go...."YEAH.....this is what I'm talking about!"
