Just a quick note:
During our weekly bible study last night (32 week Disciple study) meets weekly and we have about 15 people on regular basis. We have been meeting since September and have gotten closer.
Our leader decided to dedicate 30 minutes last night to have each one answer the following question:
"how goes it today with your soul"
I must say that the group became so much closer after hearing each other answer that simple question. Some talked about the trials of the day (frozen pipes flooding their house), some about things they were doing to find time for God each day, while others reflected on where their life was and their walk with Christ.
It was very powerful and shows us that just by listening we can learn more how to better support our brothers and sisters in this journey.
I recommend that you try and work that into your study/small groups whenever possible.:)
