A new perspective

Lately I have posted about lamenting having purchased the korean made Atlas by breedlove. I brought it aong to choir practice tonight just incase they needed a fill in. After choir I brought it out and was plunking on it when a few guys gathered around, one being one of the usual acoustic players. One of the singers asked to play my guitar so I let him. I was blown away by the sound. I have never been on the other side of the guitar. I was amazed at how it projected. It was full throaty and strong, it really sounded better than I thought it did. In-fact several folks standing around commented how nice it sounded. The fellow playing acoustic this Sunday has asked if he can play my guitar for this Sunday's worship.:yeah::yeah::yeah:

God is so good. The minute I begin to whine about my guitar God proves to me that he brought it to me for a reason. He has reminded me that if I just let him lead, everything will be just fine.

I have that very same guitar and love it. When I was picking it out, besides playing it myself, I had the GC salesman play it too, so I could hear what it sounded like from that perspective. That's what sold me.

I do that, as well. I have someone sit across from me and play the guitar as well.
Its a cool blessing to find a guitar that makes you happy and blesses others.

FWIW- I just today played a breedlove that I'm going directly to the Father for. It absolutely blew me away. I want this guitar & am asking Daddy for it tonight. It has the exact sound I've been chasing in an acoustic guitar- all my life. I'll sell the martin in a minute for this one.

Ever hear the line "Want what you have" ?

Today Tommy played my acoustic guitar both worship services. It sounded amazing. In fact I had trouble keeping my mind on singing. I could hear him playing over the other instruments and vocals quite often and it was quite distracting.

I am blessed to have this guitar, which is not where I was last week......
I am very happy that it was played today and was able to bless about 1000 people in worship. I am no longer lamenting my decision to buy this guitar over a Taylor. I want the guitar God provided......Now about that Les Paul.......hmmmmmmmmmm!
