I have noticed three link buttons at the bottom right hand corner of each post. The one marked 'Quote' copies the post into a reply form for me, but I cannot figure what the other two do. Any help gratefully received.
Have a marvellous weekend all you GPAWFers.
God is good, all the time! :cross:

Greetings, I was checking out yoiur request. I think that if you hold your curser over the items mentioned, they give a definition of the use. I think that one allows multiple quotes, and the other allows a quick reply. What that means, I am not sure, but if you ever need it, it's there. I am sure that one of our moderators or our teknikle guru can give better definitions, but I hope I have helped a little.:dunno:

The quote icon furthest to the right (the one that looks like a feather pen on a piece of paper in the lower right-hand corner of each post) allows you to quote one or more posts by using the Quick Reply box. Select then click the "Quote message in reply" checkbox at the quick reply box itself (in that order - the box is disabled if no feather pen icons are clicked). The drawback to that is that you have no option to edit the quote to remove data that's irrelevant to the reply. The system appends that quote to the beginning of the reply when it's posted.
Using the other "quote" icons allow quotes using the standard "Post Reply" button. They aren't effective for the Quick Reply box. The " " " one allows quoting of multiple posts while the "Quote" button brings you right to the reply dialog box, quoting just the one message.
Clear as mud? :D
