i've used it before. anything in particular you want to know about it? I know it's really expensive (at least $200) but it works great, especially if you've got a way to hook it up to a keyboard, then you can just play and it will notate it for you. i would highly reccomend it. never used the guitar software though, didn't know they offered it.

I have finale songwritter. I only paid about 50 dollars. It works pretty good for little stuff. I don't like to use a keyboard to score becasue you have to play to a click and if there is any latency you get some pretty funny notes showing up

I don't know much about it, really. I only have the Finale Notepad, the free part of the software. The lady (keyboardist) that writes out our songs has the full version. She sends me the files via email, and I can print them out from there. So it's real handy for that!
She says she loves it. This is the third upgrade we've had for it, and she's stuck with it, rather than changing to something else. She said there's a lot of great shortcuts in it that save her a lot of time.:headphones:

I like Finale a lot. I just upgraded from 2005 to 2008, and it's like moving to a new planet--but it's a great product. As for guitar, I haven't used it yet in the new software, but it worked fine in the 2005 model.
