The seller says its a reads slightly hot at 8.4kohms. One person told me they dont normally read that high, usually anout 7.4kohms.

I recievd info that the MIM pups do not have a base plate; would I have problems trying to put it into my Tele witha vintage style bridge?

I just wanna ask as many questions before I pull the trigger and buy a pup.

They can run a bit hotter. No doubt about it. The only thing you'll have to do if the pup has no baseplate is make sure you run a ground wire from the bridge to the tone/vol pot ( where the grounds meet on your guitar ). As far as fit, it should drop right in with no problems whatsoever.

Is it a standard series pup?
