Well as you all know, spamming has been off the hook around here lately, and a lot of it that should never be on this forum. Its given me and the moderator team headaches and upset tummies.
Thats all about to change real soon: We have been beta testing the new phpbb 3.0, and we have been very impressed, and the consensus is, we will finally be able to say, BYE-BYE YOU NASTY SPAMMERS!!!
When exactly this change will go down, were not quite sure, but we will try to give you as much notice as possible before we do. Were hopeful it will be as soon as possible.
Also, when we make this move, we will be deleting accounts that have not posted on the forum in over a year. I know there are some lurkers out there that dont feel comfortable posting. Quite a few have emailed me telling me how they enjoy the forum. So I just want to request to you that participate without posting, please, post at least one time, and say hi, so you wont be deleted when we make the move.
I also want to just say thank you to all that have hung in there with us, as we have gone through this tough time with all of the porn and pharmaceutical spammers. This truly does bother us as much a it bothers you.
I also want to take this time to say THANK YOU to my Moderator Team. They are a true blessing from the Lord, and they all have a heart for this forum.
Oh, and please keep us in prayer as we prepare this move, especially Kitty, because she has really rolled up her sleeves, pulled on her boots, and decided to kick these spammers, well, YOU KNOW WHERE!
And there is one other change that will be taking place after we make the move, but I'm gonna stay mum on that. Your just gonna have to wait and see what I'm teasin about...........
