This weekend a good friend of mine Craig Smith was the guest worship leader at my church. A couple of years ago after a service at COC while unloading his car at the motel in Birmingham he got a bunch of gear stolen. Sunday night I had let him use my LR Bagg Paracoustic pre-amp with his Ovation and at the end of the service I felt stongly impressed to bless him and told him to take it with him :hmm: .
Last night I felt impressed to drop a couple of old non working Wah Pedals a friend had given me out on ebay. They are quite rare and collectable and the cases are in good shape so I though  they might bring in around $150 or so. Well I sold the 70's Foxx Fuzz Wah last night alone for the $150 and the Vintage Vox Thomas Organ Clyde is up over $250 with 4 days left!!
Bottom line at the Lords prompting I have given away several guitars amps and other pieces of gear over the years and now the Lord just keeps pouring out the blessings. In the last two weeks there have been the wah sales, the $300 Custom Shop Washburn and I made over $400 in profit on two guitars I sold last week on ebay!! Man it just goes on and on. Taint it good when we just OBEY :yeah: :yeah: !!!

God always provides, especially when we let Him be the steward of all of our gear.

God is indeed good. You remember how our church was robbed last month, and four guitars stolen? As I started looking for replacements I thought, "I want to get the best I can because this is going to be used primarily for worship, and I want the best sound I can get. But what can we afford?" Well suddenly we can afford more... and through His blessing I'm getting a new acoustic/electric. It's first name starts with "Gib" :D

more info soon.
