Man I'm so STOKED! I cannot wait to get her!

I'm open to suggestions for names for her.

Thanks to Jeff for resizing the pisc so I could post them here!

webmaster edit: reduced size of the link, which makes it easier to read the page.

An advance welcome to the club, bruddah! (seeing that you haven't received it yet)

The '58 RI I have is nothing short of inspirational; and I could ditch all my other guitars and just keep the '58, and be a very happy man. It's truly the only instrument I care to play as a general rule; NOT because it's a Historic, Not because it's a '58, and NOT because it's a LesPaul (I've owned at least 6 other LP's in the last 30 years); no, the reason WHY, is because it sounds so GREAT.

I have done a few tweaks and tricks here and there 'under the hood'; but this was the best sounding, off the rack guitar I have ever come across in my life.

Hope you find yours as satisfying a guitar!

Two Thumbs UP!!!

I feel the same way about my 59 RI.

Hey man,

I'm sorry I didn't recognize your handle at the LPF. I realized that I responded to one of your posts. I think you'll really enjoy your Lester. I think the Historics are something special. Give us an update when it gets to you. 8)

What, no suggestions for naming her?

Hmm, "Baby"? "Number 1" "R8chel" (pronounced Rachel), "Lady Prudence" (L.P.), or in your personal sense, "SHE'S MINE!"

What, no suggestions for naming her?How about "My Offering" - it is only because God allows us to obtain these tools that we have them. Even then, we give them back to him.

Now THAT's what I call a Les Paul!

Classic concept and appearance (not to mis-name the model).

I have had an old black Custom, and some newer Jr's, etc. but there's a store near here that has a whole wall of really nice (and high end) Les Pauls.
I always go there to kick the tires.

Guy's, guy's......guitars are like ships in that they are named after women.

Ya know like she's a beautiful guitar, look at the flame in that top.....

How about:

A whole lot of Rosie

Heather (I love that name)

Kelly Girl (I love that name too)

Angel

I must say, I have an extremely soft heart for plain tops. You my friend, have an outstanding example.

For some reason all I see is the image tag/link, and when I click on it, and tells me to download something to my disc. So I copied it and sent it to my photobucket account:

SWEEEEEEET! I do think she looks like a R8chel (Rachel), but you gotta name her.

So details man, details! What's she like? How does she sound! What blows you away about her?

bvmjethead

I like Rachel spelled.......Rachyl.

OK, so Rachyl and Heather are in the running.

I call my wife "The Colonel," because she rouses and rallies the troops!

Feel free to rip it off, if you like.
