Does anyone use a Compressor/Sustain pedal with acoustics I am thinking of the Digitech I have an Alvarez AD60SC and an Ovation Elite Special, I run these through a Fender Acoustasonic.

I wouls stay away from the digitech. The Boss CS3 is a better option. An Indyguitarist modded CS3 would be even better yet.

PaulDynamics are an important expression in music. Why do you want to decrease dynamic range? ???

The digitech is very noisy.
As far as the dynamics of using a compressor with an acoustic goes, if you ar picking out arppegiated chords it can add a lot to the over all sound. If you are strumming it might not be a good thing.
