..... Ok ok I admit I was not raised on a farm, nor am I a cowboy, I am a viking for crying out loud. BUT the Lord moves in mysterious ways and I have been asked to sit in with a bluegrass band, where do I find some good resources for bluegrass in general and some good ole christian tunes?

There is a book by Bert Casey and it is called "The Bluegrass Fake Book"

It has a total of 150 old bluegrass standards including 50 bluegrass gospel tunes. I have it and it is pretty good.

I have been playing with a bluegrass group for about 3 months now. They play some of the standards but mainly bluegrass gospel. I like it but would also like to find some folks interested in the blues as much as I am that I could jam with as well. Maybe later.
