Just wanted to report that I swapped out the JB Humbucker in my Charvel Surfcaster for a DiMarzio Virtual PAF and I am very pleased with the result...feeling like it was money well spent. Anyway, I know lots of people really like the JB, so I don't know if it just didn't complement this particular guitar or what, but it wasn't working for me.
So anyway, I've got no need for the JB anymore (Seymour Duncan SH-4)? If anyone here is interested, let me know. It's in excellent condition with 12" leads, original box, paperwork and mounting screws. I bought it off of e-bay in mint condition in Feb 2003 for $53 + shipping. I would say it's still in mint condition and I would be willing to sell it for $40 plus shipping (UPS from zipcode 22801). I can post pics if anyone's interested. Also, my User ID on e-bay is "muleya". I don't do a lot of business on e-bay, but all my feedback is positive for what I have done, feel free to check it out if interested. I thought I'd make it available here first if anyone wanted it...if not, I'll probably put it up on e-bay in a few weeks.
