I am very impressed with Lovepedal guitar effects. Sean Michael is THE MAN for overdrive and fuzz.
Sean sent me a Karl fuzz this summer. AWESOME. It's a silicon fuzz that sounds like a warm Tonebender at lower fuzz settings, and then develops a wild vibe when you turn the heat up. Nothing else like it. I did a review of it on HC.
Lately, I am really needing an overdrive. The TS9, OD9, FD2 and Hot Cake just don't seem to interface with the Bogner Metropolis. SO, I am going to get a Lovepedal Eternity. Here's the link to a friend's effects clips:

Gainster has a lot of great clips on there with the Eternity, the Addrock Geranium fuzz, and others.
Sean's easy to talk with. I'll give you a review when I get it.
peace & great tones!
Randy

I had an extreme interest in the Lovepedal this past summer. But it was a bit of a hit & miss in communications with Sean. So, the G.A.S. attack disapated.
I would really like to hear one in person before I commit to laying out the cash. However, since he is a small boutique builder, there is very little chance of finding one in my area. I had asked him about a return policy. It seems that he either did not have one, or I never got a reply.
Your post has sparked my interest again.

The clips sound a bit dry, but that's probably because there's not a lot of compression on there.
I'm pretty sure this will be the one for me. It was a hard choice between the Proanalog Dual Drive and the Lovepedal Eternity. The DD does not color the tone at all. The Lovepedal does, but in the right way. Here's another guitar players review in an email to me:
Randy,
I am still currently using a Lovepedal Eternity. It works real well with both my Rt.66 and Carvin Bel Air (EL84's). The way I describe the sound is its like 6L6 tubes burning...an overdrive that is both glassy, but chewy. Muted palm chording sounds real nice and very "70's" rock. For leads, the pedal sings nicely but mine doesn't have an insane amount of gain. You can get Santana-like tones out of a humbucker neck pickup though. The Eternity has a nice top end and does a nice job with complex chords -- there is good string to string definition. I play a hybrid picking style, and there is nice snap retained with the Eternity engaged.
The tone knob is interesting. Some have described it as being similar to a treble booster in some settings. It's not a treble roll off style tone knob. It is kind of a "range finder" that focuses different frequencies in the mids to high mids. I tend to keep my tone knob at around 1 oclock.
Dislikes? Not many. If you have problems with tubescreamer-style pedals, this might work for you. You will notice the pedal is not completely transparent over your amp's tone. It is not as transparent as, say, a Hot Cake. It's kind of a compromise between those two styles -- some transparency, glassiness, snap, etc....combined with smooth grind ala TS9, Barber Tone Pump, etc. It's perhaps not quite as smooth as some of those (that's a good thing in my book).
Anyway, I hope this helps. They aren't cheap but if you buy one and don't like it, I think you can probably get back 85% of your investment in resale. Plus, Sean will tweak it to your liking. Tell him your concerns and he will try to zone it in for you. He really tries hard for customers. I will most likely get another one sometime...maybe with more gain, just for something different.
BTW, I hope to get more Eternity and Barber LTD sound clips up on my site soon. Thanks for checking it out.
Later,
Joe B.
I'm getting the current version, which has higher gain capabilities, as well as interchangeable IC chips.
grace & peace,
Randy
