Certainly not a new product, but keep your eyes out for any of the early '80s Fender amps, yes, even the solid state ones.Paul Rivera designed some of these I've been told.I had a Super Champ that was like a munchkin Mesa, and right now I'm running 2 Yale Reverbs (50watts,1-12",solid State). The Yales are super touch sensitive, and run 3 volumes like the early Boogies. It is a perfect church amp,and gets great tone, and fits in the front seat of your car.Whenever I don't want to take out the old tube stuff, these go first.
I also remember some other models like the London Reverb, and maybe even the Harvard. Some had red knobs....you can usually get these for a great price.I'm a stodgy tube kinda guy,but I can't deny good sound.Just wanted to pass it on.......
