I bought this on eBay because of the price($31 with shipping) and was just wanting an overdrive pedal to kick around. Well, I really got a steal! It didn't sound so great in front of a solid state combo, but in front of a couple of Fender tube amps into the clean channel it really gives a fat yet sweet, singing lead sound, and some very good overdrive breakup on chords and double note picking and bends.

I'm sorry to say that they are no longer in production, but if you see one out there on eBay or in a pawn shop, you might want to give her a look. I am impressed big time. It's not a Tubescreamer, but it sounds pretty good to me.

I've been looking for one of those! I've got their Distortion pedal, and I don't particularly love it, but I'm not usually into full-on distortion anyway, I'm more of a Tube Screamer guy!

I'll keep looking... :!:

I am getting a good variety out of this pedal, it is very warm and bluesy towards the neck positions, and very tight and crisp towards the bridge positions. Through the Junior it sounds like a really great overdriven amp, not so much like a distortion pedal. It just sounds great through the clean channel. I also tried it through the drive channel of the HRDx, with the drive lowered and got a pleasantly unexpected result(I didn't know what it would do, except feedback alot), it was like a tubescreamer on steroids. The only way I could describe it, is maybe bordering on some lighter Malmsteen type drive sounds. Like a real in your face TS sound. Pretty cool, but nothing I could use at church.

If I ever decide to part with it, I'll let you know SA. The Jekyll & Hyde is coming soon!
