I just got to brag about my Made in Mexico Robert Cray strat. bought it this past summer for 500 bucks, "hardtail" bridge, custom shop pick-ups. it has the sweetest growl to it on a single coil axe i ever heard. and even the bridge pick-up sounds pretty good. The only thing is the color, inca silver, i don't really love.

I'd rather Inca Silver than the purple MIM Robert Cray I had.

Those things are a rip off: it did NOT make me either sing or play like Robert Cray, so I sold it. ;)

Well, i don't know about R. Cray, but since i got it, everytime she sees me play it, my wife comments on how i'm starting to look like Captain Kangeroo in my old age...

They are quite nice guitars for the money. Had one and sold it for various reasons but found that the neck is my favorite size and shape Strat neck.

Anybody remember "The Bananna Man," from Bob Kershaw's (capt K) show?

Hmmmm, ya stumped me on that one. I remember Mr. Green-Jeans, the moose, the rabbit, and the Kaptain.
