Is it just me, or is photobucket on the fritz? I noticed that my little band in my signature aint showin up, so I tried to go to the photobucket site, but it wont connect.

Anyone else havin problems with photobucket?

Photobucket has an announcement about that. Apparently, lots of other sites were affected by the same thing, as well as email. It affected my domains, too.

It's been up. I've been able to access photobucket from home with no problem since before I posted my first reply to this topic. It worked just before I posted this reply, too. Not even any delays.

It affected my domains for only a couple of hours on Wed afternoon. I was in the middle of a big ftp upload when all of a sudden it just stopped and wouldn't start back up. I couldn't access the pop3 or smtp, either. It was fine again after dinner.

Your sig graphic displays just fine here, too (for me). Are you still unable to get to photobucket? There could be a problem between your ISP and their server. Or maybe it's sporadic right now and I've just hit it at times when it's been online.....

Network Update

Photobucket has acquired additional equipment and another provider in order to help route traffic that was unable to resolve photobucket.com. Just as we started to make the changes on our end, we got word that Cogent and Level 3 had begun to pass traffic between the networks again. It was an unfortunate situation that affected thousands of companies and millions of internet users.

Here is some information on what has happened. Again, this was not a Photobucket specific issue.

I think it was sporadic, cause now my photo's are back up, and I can access all the sites for photobucket. Most likely I was just in a "black-out" type situation, and others werent.

Oh well, its back to narmal, and thats all that matters right now!

This may not be what you are talking about but my photos don't always show up on this site. Occasionally, 2 of the photos from the Rodeo Service in the P&W Hot Dog! thread won't show up on 1 of the PCs I use, but I know they are there.

I always see your band.gif
